AmICited domains are workspace-scoped. Add the sites your team reports on, choose a domain before reading a report, and keep its source connections and permissions with that workspace rather than blending client or brand data together.
The backend remains authoritative: it rejects an over-cap domain creation even if the client has not loaded plan data.

A cancelled plan allows no new domain; an unknown or loading plan is not guessed as a restrictive cap in the interface.
Plan-aware without invented entitlements
Domain Plan Limits
The domain cap is per workspace, not per user. The UI can stop a known over-cap add early, but the server is the final check. That makes a domain limit reliable without claiming that every report, provider connection or team seat shares the same entitlement.
Use separate workspaces where ownership or billing must be separate.
A domain selection scopes the reporting routes that support it.
Owners, admins and editors manage domains; members read, while guests and maintainers do not enter the domain surface.
One domain, its own evidence
Domain Reporting Boundaries
Choose a domain before connecting Search Console, Bing, advertising or ecommerce data. A marketer can switch between brands without rebuilding filters; an agency can keep client data in the correct workspace; an SEO owner can see which source is actually mapped to the current site.

Multi-Domain Feature Limits
Multi-domain management controls the workspace’s site inventory. It does not silently create provider credentials or turn an unavailable report into data. Connect and authorize each source deliberately, then read its status from Data Sources.

Make the workspace boundary visible before reporting starts
Keep each domain, its source mappings and its users in the workspace that owns the decision.
