Integrations

Ad platforms

Connect Google Ads, Bing Ads, ChatGPT Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads to see paid spend and results beside your organic and AI visibility, and to find the queries you pay for that your content could win.

Paid and AI visibility answer the same question from two sides: where do buyers find you? Connecting your ad accounts puts spend, clicks and conversions on the same domain as your AI citations and organic search. That shows you which paid search terms you could earn organically, which campaigns actually pay back, and, inside ChatGPT, who is paying to appear in answers where you are cited for free.

Ad integrations are available from the Pro plan. See plans and limits.

How each platform connects#

All five are connected from Data Sources (Google Ads, Bing Ads and ChatGPT Ads under Paid search, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads under Paid social). Only workspace administrators can connect integrations.

  1. Connect

Go to Data Sources and click Connect on the platform’s card. Complete the sign-in, or paste the API key for ChatGPT Ads.

  2. Select the account

Click Select account. The picker shows each account’s status and its spend in the last 30 days, so the right one is easy to spot.

  3. Choose history and confirm

Pick how much history to import. Each option shows projected rows and a one-time cost; Google Ads keeps about 13 months, so no backfill reaches further. Click Confirm and backfill. New days import daily after that.

What each platform brings#

PlatformReports
Google AdsPerformance, Keywords, Search terms, Campaigns, CAC & ROAS, Countries and devices
Bing AdsPerformance, Keywords, Search terms, Campaigns, CAC & ROAS, Countries and devices
Meta AdsPerformance, Campaigns, CAC & ROAS, Saturation (is repeated delivery tiring the audience?)
LinkedIn AdsPerformance, CAC & ROAS, Campaign groups, Creatives, Conversions, Restatement, Timing, Audience, Frequency, Companies (which companies engaged and converted), Budgets, Cost trends
ChatGPT AdsInsights, Competitors, Campaigns, CAC & ROAS, Ad groups, Conversions, Audiences, Ad account

These live under Reports → Platform reports. CAC & ROAS joins each campaign’s imported spend with the conversions and value attributed by your GA4 data, using the attribution model you pick, so connect GA4 to fill it.

ChatGPT Ads: more than reporting#

ChatGPT Ads is the one ad platform where AmICited also works as a management console, because its ads appear inside the same answers you track organically.

  • Competitor ads. Every sponsored placement AmICited has seen inside ChatGPT answers to your tracked prompts: who is paying to appear where you are cited for free.
  • Paid beside organic. Your ad performance next to your organic ChatGPT citations for the same domain.
  • Manage campaigns. Create and edit campaigns, ad groups and ads (lifetime budget, bidding, max bid, locations, headline, body, target URL), manage custom audiences, and set up conversion tracking.
  • Context hints. The questions an ad group should answer. Each hint can be tracked as a prompt with one click (Track as prompt), so you see whether you also win that question organically. A semantic map plots hints, the pages your ads target and the queries ChatGPT actually derives.

See ads and products in AI answers for how sponsored placements are measured on your tracked prompts.

Where paid data meets organic and AI data#

  • Reports → Opportunities → Paid gaps. Search terms your ads paid for that have never had a single organic impression: demand you have proven with money and have no page for. A strong source of new prompts and articles.
  • Traffic sources and Keywords. Paid clicks and keywords next to organic ones.
  • Annotations. Paid clicks, impressions, cost, conversions, CPA and ROAS expectations for a campaign change.
  • Eshop reports. With a store connected, Meta spend is compared with orders that actually landed (attribution reality, profit-true ROAS, new-customer CAC).
  • Site audit. Paid clicks per page next to its internal link authority.

Cost and disconnecting#

Each import is billed once by rows kept (1 credit per million rows), plus a flat daily warehouse fee per connected domain set by your plan; a domain that already has a connected source adds nothing for extra ones. Both are shown before you confirm. If credits run out, the import pauses and resumes after you top up. Disconnect stops the import and deletes the imported data for that platform; the integration itself stays available to the MCP server and other domains. See credits.

Ask an agent

Ad data is also available to agents through the MCP server (paid_ads and chatgpt_ads toolsets). “Which Google Ads search terms cost us the most last month with no organic impressions?” is one question to an agent instead of three reports.
