Credits

How AmICited meters usage in credits: what an AI response costs, the other metered features, what happens when the balance runs out, and how to set alerts, limits and auto-recharge.

Definition

Credit

The unit AmICited meters usage in. One credit equals €1. Your plan adds a monthly allowance, and each AI response and metered feature spends a fraction of a credit.

Why credits#

Tracking cost scales with how often you ask how many engines about how many prompts, not with how many seats you have. Credits let a quiet month cost less than a busy one, and let you spend the same allowance on whatever matters now: more prompts, more frequent runs, premium engines or audits. AmICited is part of FlowHunt, so it uses the same credit balance as the rest of your FlowHunt workspace.

A response is one prompt run on one engine. The Google Search results captured alongside Google AI Overview are included in that response and not charged separately. Premium-engine responses are billed at what the vendor charges for the tokens and web searches used, with no margin added on top, and never below the standard rate.

The first run after setup is faster, and costs double

Prompts created in the setup wizard go on a priority queue so your dashboard fills in within minutes. Responses collected through that priority queue are billed at twice the standard rate (0.03 credits each). Later scheduled runs use the standard queue and rate.

Worked example#

A Pro workspace tracks 40 prompts daily and 100 prompts weekly on the five standard engines, and builds 2 semantic maps a month.

  • Daily prompts: 40 × 5 engines × 30 runs × 0.015 = 90.0 credits
  • Weekly prompts: 100 × 5 engines × about 4.3 runs × 0.015 = 32.1 credits
  • Semantic maps: 2 × 0.005 = 0.01 credits, plus embeddings

That is about 122 credits against Pro’s 120 monthly allowance. Moving 10 of the daily prompts to weekly brings it to about 103. Run frequency has a full table of costs per schedule.

Monthly allowance and top-ups#

Each plan adds credits every month: Starter 50, Pro 120, Premium 500, Enterprise custom. The trial starts with 5 welcome credits. Unused monthly credits do not roll over. When you need more within a month, top up from the low-credit banner (Top up credits) or upgrade your plan. See plans and limits.

When credits run out#

When the balance is exhausted:

  • Scheduled runs pause. Each domain shows Your domain is inactive with the cause Credits ran out, and no new data is collected.
  • Your data is kept. Everything collected so far stays viewable.
  • Deleting still works, so you can trim prompts before topping up.
  • The MCP server keeps answering reads, which are free, but only while the balance is positive.
  • Tracking resumes automatically as soon as you top up or the next monthly allowance arrives. There is nothing to restart.

Missed days show as gaps in your trend lines, which is why it pays to set up an alert.

Alerts, limits and auto-recharge#

Open Workspace Settings → Credits to control spending:

  • Low Credit Alert. Get an email and in-app notification when the balance drops to or below a threshold you choose. Without a custom threshold you are notified when credits fall below 10% of your monthly plan value.
  • Workspace Credit Limit. Cap how many credits this workspace may consume in a billing period. Usage is blocked once the limit is reached, until the next period. The limit cannot exceed your monthly allowance.
  • Auto-Recharge Credits. Add a fixed amount of credits automatically when the balance falls below a trigger threshold. Available on Pro, Premium and Enterprise, with a minimum recharge of 100 credits. It charges your default payment method and switches itself off if a payment fails.

Keeping spend predictable#

  • Match cadence to value. Run core prompts daily and long-tail prompts weekly. One hourly prompt costs as much as 24 daily ones.
  • Restrict engines per prompt where some engines are irrelevant, using the prompt’s AI providers list. See AI engines.
  • Use Process now sparingly. It runs selected prompts immediately, at the normal cost per response.
  • Check before large imports. A 500-prompt CSV on daily and 5 engines is 1,125 credits a month.
