A tour of the Reports directory: organic traffic, opportunity reports that join search with AI citations, per-platform reports for every connected data source, and the eshop reports.
AI citations are one way people find you. Reports covers the rest: organic search, paid ads, analytics and, for shops, what the traffic turned into. Everything is stored per domain in the same warehouse as your citation data, with full history rather than samples, which is what lets reports such as the citation gap join rankings with citations on one row.
Open Reports in the side menu. Each report is a card with the question it answers, a headline figure or sparkline, and Open report. Use the Search AmICited reports… box to jump straight to one by name or topic.
A card whose data source is not connected says so (“Connect Search Console to fill this in”) with a Fix this link to Data Sources. Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics 4 are available on every plan; ad-platform and ecommerce integrations from Pro. See plans and limits.
The directory has four parts, in this order: Traffic, Opportunities, the eshop groups (when a shop is connected) and By data source.
“What people searched for, which pages and sections earned the visits, and what moved since last period.” These need Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools (see Search Console and Bing).

AI searches. Search Console queries that contain a site: operator. People almost never type those; an AI assistant’s fan-out does, when it narrows a web search to one domain. This report is the keyword table narrowed to those searches, so you can see which of your pages assistants look up directly. See query fan-out.
Site operators. Which domains those searches named, and which way: scoped to a domain when the agent wants content from that site, or away from named domains when it wants other kinds of sources.
Query coverage is worth a look before trusting any keyword report: Google and Bing hide rare search terms, so it shows how much of your traffic the keyword reports actually describe.
Each connected integration adds its own group of reports:
Google Search Console. Queries, Pages, Directories, Countries and devices, Indexing, URL inspection.
Bing Webmasters. Overview, Queries, Pages, Directories, Crawl, URL submission. Bing powers Copilot, so its query data is the closest read on what Copilot users ask; AmICited does not track Copilot answers themselves.
Google Ads and Bing Ads. Performance, Keywords, Search terms, Campaigns, CAC & ROAS, Countries and devices.
Meta Ads. Performance, Campaigns, CAC & ROAS, Saturation.
ChatGPT Ads. Insights, Competitors, Campaigns, CAC & ROAS, Ad groups, Conversions, Audiences, Ad account. See ads and products in AI answers.
Google Analytics 4. Attribution, Conversions by location, Campaign performance, Landing pages, Acquisition revenue. Read from your GA4 BigQuery export; see Google Analytics 4.
Only connected sources appear here. See ad platforms for connecting the ad accounts.
With a store connected (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento 2, Shoptet or BiznisWeb; see ecommerce stores), a set of eshop reports answers what the traffic turned into:
Earnings. Cockpit, Sales engine, Economics.
Costs. Cost mix, Pages and ad spend, Marketing & ads, CAC & ROAS, Cross-source reports.
Ads and the shop. Attribution reality, Profit-true ROAS, New-customer CAC, Audience efficiency, Dayparting, Profit scaling (Meta spend against realized orders).
Customers. Customers and retention, Repeat purchase, Lifetime value, Segments, Replenishment.
Markets and timing. Geography, Geo profitability, Calendar, Weather.
Operations and data. Metric library, Order mix, Data health.
Margins are estimated until purchase costs are entered in the eshop setup.

Reports are reachable over MCP too (the organic_search, seo_reports, paid_ads and eshop toolsets). “Which pages lost the most clicks last month, and were any of them cited by AI?” is one question for a connected agent, and several tabs in the app.
# Search and traffic reports
A tour of the Reports directory: organic traffic, opportunity reports that join search with AI citations, per-platform reports for every connected data source, and the eshop reports.
AI citations are one way people find you. **Reports** covers the rest: organic search, paid ads, analytics and, for shops, what the traffic turned into. Everything is stored per domain in the same warehouse as your citation data, with full history rather than samples, which is what lets reports such as the [citation gap](/docs/analyze/citation-gap/) join rankings with citations on one row.
## How the directory works
Open **Reports** in the side menu. Each report is a card with the question it answers, a headline figure or sparkline, and **Open report**. Use the **Search AmICited reports…** box to jump straight to one by name or topic.
A card whose data source is not connected says so ("Connect Search Console to fill this in") with a **Fix this** link to **Data Sources**. Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics 4 are available on every plan; ad-platform and ecommerce integrations from Pro. See [plans and limits](/docs/account/plans-and-limits/).
The directory has four parts, in this order: **Traffic**, **Opportunities**, the eshop groups (when a shop is connected) and **By data source**.
## Traffic
"What people searched for, which pages and sections earned the visits, and what moved since last period." These need Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools (see [Search Console and Bing](/docs/integrations/search-console-and-bing/)).
| Report | Question it answers |
|---|---|
| **Traffic sources** | Which sources send our visitors, and which one moved? |
| **Keywords** | What are we found for, and what does it bring? |
| **Query coverage** | How much of our search traffic can we name a query for? |
| **AI searches** | Which of our searches came from an AI assistant? |
| **Site operators** | Which domains do AI agents search in, or steer away from? |
| **N-grams** | Which phrases keep coming back in what people search? |
| **Pages**, **Directories** | Which pages, and which sections of the site, earn the traffic? |
| **Index bloat** | Which pages are indexed and earn nothing? |
| **Click waterfall** | What moved the clicks since last period? |
| **Decay & growth** | Why did each page's clicks move: rank, demand, or click-through? |
| **URL movers**, **Keyword movers** | What moved up or down since the compared period? |
| **Domain authority** | How much is backlink authority worth for ranking? |
| **Internal link building** | Where does our link equity sit, and does traffic follow? |

| **Annotation outcomes** | Did the work we did actually pay off? See [annotations](/docs/improve/annotations/). |
### The two AI-specific traffic reports
- **AI searches.** Search Console queries that contain a `site:` operator. People almost never type those; an AI assistant's fan-out does, when it narrows a web search to one domain. This report is the keyword table narrowed to those searches, so you can see which of your pages assistants look up directly. See [query fan-out](/docs/analyze/query-fan-out/).
- **Site operators.** Which domains those searches named, and which way: scoped *to* a domain when the agent wants content from that site, or *away* from named domains when it wants other kinds of sources.
**Query coverage** is worth a look before trusting any keyword report: Google and Bing hide rare search terms, so it shows how much of your traffic the keyword reports actually describe.
## Opportunities
"Positions, click-through and ad spend worth moving, ranked by what the move is worth."
| Report | Question it answers |
|---|---|
| **Striking distance** | What ranks just off the first page? |
| **CTR gap** | Where do we rank well and get clicked badly? |
| **Quadrant** | Which keywords are worth the effort they need? |
| **Paid gaps** | What are we paying for that we already rank for? |
| **Citation gap** | Which prompts cite everyone except us? See [citation gap report](/docs/analyze/citation-gap/). |
| **ChatGPT Ads** | Which creatives are approved, and which are serving? |
## By data source
Each connected integration adds its own group of reports:
- **Google Search Console.** Queries, Pages, Directories, Countries and devices, Indexing, URL inspection.
- **Bing Webmasters.** Overview, Queries, Pages, Directories, Crawl, URL submission. Bing powers Copilot, so its query data is the closest read on what Copilot users ask; AmICited does not track Copilot answers themselves.
- **Google Ads** and **Bing Ads.** Performance, Keywords, Search terms, Campaigns, CAC & ROAS, Countries and devices.
- **Meta Ads.** Performance, Campaigns, CAC & ROAS, Saturation.
- **LinkedIn Ads.** Performance, CAC & ROAS, Campaign groups, Creatives, Conversions, Restatement, Timing, Audience, Frequency, Companies, Budgets, Cost trends.
- **ChatGPT Ads.** Insights, Competitors, Campaigns, CAC & ROAS, Ad groups, Conversions, Audiences, Ad account. See [ads and products in AI answers](/docs/analyze/ai-ads-and-shopping/).
- **Google Analytics 4.** Attribution, Conversions by location, Campaign performance, Landing pages, Acquisition revenue. Read from your GA4 BigQuery export; see [Google Analytics 4](/docs/integrations/google-analytics/).
Only connected sources appear here. See [ad platforms](/docs/integrations/ad-platforms/) for connecting the ad accounts.
## Eshop
With a store connected (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento 2, Shoptet or BiznisWeb; see [ecommerce stores](/docs/integrations/ecommerce-stores/)), a set of eshop reports answers what the traffic turned into:
- **Earnings.** Cockpit, Sales engine, Economics.
- **Costs.** Cost mix, Pages and ad spend, Marketing & ads, CAC & ROAS, Cross-source reports.
- **Ads and the shop.** Attribution reality, Profit-true ROAS, New-customer CAC, Audience efficiency, Dayparting, Profit scaling (Meta spend against realized orders).
- **Products.** Products, Assortment, Product bundles, Entry products.
- **Customers.** Customers and retention, Repeat purchase, Lifetime value, Segments, Replenishment.
- **Markets and timing.** Geography, Geo profitability, Calendar, Weather.
- **Operations and data.** Metric library, Order mix, Data health.
Margins are estimated until purchase costs are entered in the eshop setup.
Reports are reachable over [MCP](/docs/mcp/toolsets/) too (the `organic_search`, `seo_reports`, `paid_ads` and `eshop` toolsets). "Which pages lost the most clicks last month, and were any of them cited by AI?" is one question for a connected agent, and several tabs in the app.
